Road accidents in Africa are some of the deadliest in the world according to the World Health Organization.

In this special episode we investigate why are fatalities on Africa's roads is so high. Data from the World Health Organization suggests that Africa has the worst rate of road traffic accidents in the world, with an exceptionally high fatality rate of 26.6 deaths per 100,000 people - nearly three times that of Europe.
We hear what can governments do to make road safety a priority, and from a widow on the deeply human cost of accidents on bereaved loved ones left behind.
