Pensioners have been protesting outside the Ministry of Finance in Accra, angered by a government debt swap plan which will affect their bonds.

The reform is part of an effort by Ghana’s government to secure a bailout from the IMF. Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta has called it a ‘good deal’ for the pensioners.
