The former president of Burkina Faso, Thomas Sankara, has been reburied in Ouagadougou by the country鈥檚 ruling military junta.
The former president of Burkina Faso, Thomas Sankara, has been reburied in Ouagadougou by the country鈥檚 ruling military junta. The move has divided the family of the late revolutionary leader, whose widow and children boycotted the ceremony on Thursday. Sankara was laid to rest at the spot where he was assassinated in 1987.
