Obi to challenge Nigeria election result
Third-place candidate, Peter Obi says he will challenge Bola Tinubu's election win.
Peter Obi, who came third in Nigeria's presidential elections has vowed to challenge the result. Bola Tinubu, of the ruling APC party was declared the winner, with 37% of the vote.
West African states are repatriating their citizens from Tunisia, following inflammatory remarks by President Kais Saied. Saied said illegal migration was causing demographic change in Tunisia, and accused "illegal hordes" of being behind a rise in crime.
Madagascar and Mozambique are counting the cost of Cyclone Freddy, which has led to the death of least 14 people in the two countries. The number of people affected by the cyclone has risen to 383,000.
And a group of actors in Cameroon are on tour with a show that attempts to shed light on issues affecting the country.
