Reviving traditional African beliefs
We hear from Kenyan Wairimu Mukuru on her faith journey, converting to her Kikuyu roots.
Kenyan Wairimu Mukuru has put her journalism career on hold to teach her traditional Bantu language, Kikuyu, and to create content for social platforms celebrating traditional songs and stories. She is part of what seems to be a growing trend of people reclaiming their older, more traditional belief systems that predate the Abrahamic religions - beliefs that were once dismissed as witchcraft. She tells us about her faith journey.
