Soldiers have joined rescue workers in Malawi to help recover more bodies following the devastation caused by Tropical Storm Freddy.
Rescue workers in Malawi are recovering more bodies following the devastation caused by Cyclone Freddy which has killed more than 300 people. Soldiers have joined in to help. We hear from our correspondent in Blantyre – one of the worst affected cities – who has been speaking to officials there.
Plus, hundreds of protesters march through the Kenyan coastal town of Mombasa to protest against same sex relations.
And in sport, Ghana's president joins mourners as they gather in Accra to pay their last respects to footballer Christian Atsu at a formal funeral ceremony being held outside State House.
