Nairobi governor speaks out on Kenya protests
Johnson Sakaja says he will make funds available to repair damage caused by protests.
Today is the third day of protests called by Raila Odinga in Kenya. He ran against William Ruto in last year's presidential election, but he has still not accepted the electoral commission's decision that his opponent won. He also says Kenyans should protest against the high cost of living. We hear from the governor of Nairobi, Johnson Sakaja, who is from the president's United Democratic Alliance party.
Senegalese opposition politician, Ousmane Sonko has been handed a two-month suspended jail sentence.
And we hear from a political party in Lesotho, regarding a motion they are tabling in parliament, which seeks to reclaim land from South Africa.
