Nairobi governor condemns protest damage
Johnson Sakaja says protests won't solve cost of living crisis.
Thursday is the third day of protests called by Raila Odinga in Kenya. The opposition leader has called for people to protest against the high cost of living but also against the results of last year's presidential election. We got the reaction of the governor of Nairobi, Johnson Sakaja, who is from the president's United Democratic Alliance party.
A court in the Senegalese capital, Dakar, has found opposition leader, Ousmane Sonko, guilty of defamation and handed him a two-month suspended sentence.
We hear from a political party in Lesotho, regarding a motion they are tabling in parliament, which seeks to reclaim land from South Africa.
And an update on a state of emergency imposed in 22 of Burkina Faso's 45 provinces.
