European Parliament discusses changes to migration laws
Member of the EU Parliament Pietro Bartolo is spearheading efforts to change EU law on migration. It comes as deaths in the Mediterranean Sea register a new record high.
Nearly 600 people have drowned in the Mediterranean Sea this year alone trying to reach Europe, according to the International Organisation on Migration. We speak to Member of the European Parliament, Doctor Pietro Bartolo, who is spearheading efforts to change the way the EU deals with migrants.
