Hospitals in Khartoum caught up in the fighting

Patients in the capital, Khartoum, appeal for safe passage to and from hospital buildings, as gun battles continue.

There is growing concern for the plight of civilians caught up in the violence in Sudan, on the third day of fighting between rival branches of the armed forces. Patients in two hospitals in Khartoum have appealed for safe passage as the gunbattles continue in the capital. We hear from a journalist who has been to a hospital and spoke to people there.
