Sudan clashes continue despite talks
Clashes are underway in Khartoum despite ongoing peace talks in Saudi Arabia.
Fierce clashes are continuing in Khartoum between the Sudanese army and the rival Rapid Support Forces, despite ongoing peace talks mediated by the US and Saudi Arabia. The fighting in Sudan has destroyed medical facilities and forced doctors and health care workers to flee.
Gunmen have killed at least four people, including two staff from the US Embassy in Nigeria鈥檚 southeastern Anambra state. The police in Anambra confirmed the attack.
And the African Development Bank has announced a plan to provide compensation payments to white farmers in Zimbabwe who lost land and assets during the controversial land reform policies of the Robert Mugabe era.
