RADIO 2 IS 40!


To mark Radio 2's 40th Birthday, there wasÌýa special day of programming on 30 September. Terry Wogan introduced a variety of Radio 2 highlights from the past 40 years including a special recording of Pick Of The Pops With Smashie And Nicey; a previously ‘lost' live performance from Paul Simon; an edition of The Kenny Everett Radio Show; classic comedy from Round The Horne and the return of Paul Hollingdale, Ed Stewart and Michael Aspel to the network.
