1/4. In the first of four programmes focusing on the work of British composers, Alwynne Pritchard introduces two concerts from the bmic's 2004 Cutting Edge series. The Norwegian quintet asamisimasa performs works by James Saunders, Roger Redgate, Ian Willcock and the UK premiere of Michael Finnissy's L'Herbe. Finnissy is also featured in the concert given by Ensemble Exposé with the London premiere of his Greatest Hits of All Time. The concert also included pieces by James Dillon, Ross Lorraine and Joanna Bailie.
