Carla Bley and Gilad Atzmon Double Bill

Jez Nelson presents two concerts recorded earlier today at the London Jazz Festival. New York Jazz composer and pianist Carla Bley presents her first appearance in London for many years along with her 'Lost Chords' band including Steve Swallow on bass guitar, Andy Sheppard on saxophone and Billy Drummond on drums. In the second part of the programme, the Israeli saxophonist Gilad Atzmon and his Orient House Ensemble plays music with a powerful political message.
