Mark Lawson was born on 11 April 1962 and went to school at St Columba's College in St Albans. He went on to University College, London where he took a degree in English.
He has been a freelance contributor to numerous publications since 1984 and a Guardian columnist since 1995. In the mid-90s he presented The Late Show on Â鶹Éç2 and has presented The Late Review since 1994.
He has twice been voted TV critic of the Year and has won numerous awards for arts journalism.
John WilsonÌýbegan his radio career in 1990, presenting and reporting for the Radio Five magazine show The Mix.
He has presented numerous programmes and series on Radio 4 including The Cultural State, The Fixers, Kaleidoscope, Stealing Beauty and Pick Of The Week. He has also made features and documentaries for Radio One and Five Live and has written about art and cultural issues for publications including The Observer and The Art Newspaper.
John has worked on Front Row since it started in 1998.
Kirsty LangÌýjoined Channel 4 News in 1998 as a studio presenter and news reporter. She began her journalism career as a Â鶹Éç news trainee in 1986 and worked on programmes including Today and the World at One.
From 1989 to 1991 she was the Central European reporter for Â鶹Éç World Service based in Budapest, covering the fall of the Berlin Wall and Balkans conflict, and went on to be the Â鶹Éç's Paris correspondent for both television and radio.
After a period reporting for Â鶹Éç TWO's Newsnight and prior to joining Channel 4 Kirsty worked at the Sunday Times as their Paris correspondent. She joined Front Row in 2004.
