Festivales hoy En Dia

Pupils from Auchinleck Adademy who are studying Spanish came to the L.A.B and made this fun report on Spanish Festivals.

The Festivals they included in their report are -

La Tomatina a food fight festival held in the Valencia region of Spain. More than one hundred metric tons of over-ripe tomatoes are thrown in the streets in exactly one hour. Sounds Messy!

Las Fallas a traditional celebration in praise of Saint Joseph held in Valencia, Spain.

And the festival of San Fermín in the city of Pamplona, Spain where the most famous event is the running of the bulls where six bulls are let loose in the streets. Sounds dangerous!

The pupils even included a piece on what not to wear at a festival!

If you are interested in learning Spanish have a look at Mi Vida Loca, a Â鶹Éç Spanish language learning resource.
