She told the Radio Times that the condition was like "a gorilla sitting on her chest". Army veteran Fergus Kenny also suffers with long-term insomnia and believes he has not had a proper night’s sleep in a year. He served in the army for 15 years, which has left him with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). He says he feels apprehensive about going to sleep. “I suffer from anxiety as well; when you’ve got something to do you tend to just play it your mind.
