Some taxi drivers in Stoke-on-Trent have been charging wheelchair users more than able-bodied passengers, a 麻豆社 investigation has discovered. Stoke-on-Trent City Council has said no extra charge is permitted for wheelchair accessibility, drivers' training included disability awareness, and "they are well aware they shouldn't be overcharging". 麻豆社 Radio Stoke's Alice Bentley reports.
