In addition to using many outside orchestras, the Â鶹Éç had their own Regional Staff orchestras specialising in light music, based in London, Birmingham, Glasgow, Bristol and Belfast. Of these orchestras, the Â鶹Éç's 'Pride and Joy' was the Â鶹Éç Midland Light Orchestra, which could be heard 'on the air' several times a week and whose versatility knew no bounds.
