Former Manchester United striker Andrew Cole says he’s recovering following his recent kidney transplant operation. The former footballer initially suffered kidney failure in 2015 as a result of contracting an airborne virus. Cole said: “It’s been tough, it’s gonna be tough...fingers crossed I’ll keep going the way I have been, keep recovering.” He is now feeling well enough to return to football and later this summer will help coach a Manchester United Legends team against Barcelona Legends in aid of the United Foundation.
