Ahead of International Women’s Day, ActionAid has partnered exclusively with women photographers to shine a spotlight on their incredible talent and share a different perspective. The photographs celebrate women who are breaking barriers. One featured artist, Esther Ruth Mbabazi, is an award-winning Ugandan photographer who uses storytelling and photojournalism to address issues in her society that are often overlooked.
