On Thursday, the Tunisian government announced a set of measures to curb the recent spread of Covid-19. A huge surge in infections over the past month has seen cases increase by more than 1,000 per day. New restrictions measures include closing schools for 12 days and a ban on inter-city travel, while public gatherings will be limited to a maximum of four people.The nationwide weekday curfew will also be extended, and restaurants and cafes will have to close at 4pm.
