More than 600,000 people have been affected by widespread flooding in South Sudan since May, says the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA). Many have been forced to abandon their homes and farms to seek safety and shelter elsewhere. Richard Ruati, communication officer with Unicef, is currently in Bor, a main town in South Sudan's Jonglei state.
