The 2023-24 Premier League season kicks off with reigning champions Manchester City taking on Burnley, led by a modern Blues legend. Vincent Kompany won 10 major trophies as a City player but will be in the opposition dugout after leading Burnley, known as the Clarets, back to the top-flight in his first season as their manager. Odur Bruno from Uganda is a serious Burnley fan. He told Newsday: “I see a win for us and even if the win doesn’t come… we are going to be great this season… It has always been my heart’s desire to come to turf more but currently I don’t even have a jersey because they don’t sell it in Uganda… I believe when I have a son, he’ll definitely be a Burnley fan so 10 years, 20 years down the road, we shall have a generation of Burnley fans! So let's go Clarets, we shall be many!” (Picture: Shows Burnley fan, Odur Bruno. Credit: Odur Bruno.)
