Research by Â鶹Éç London’s investigation team has found that this year nearly twice as many libraries will close in the capital than in the previous four years combined. Library users say they’re a space for local community groups to meet, spaces for clubs to gather, and provide vital internet and technological access to those with few other options. So, what actually happens to those who depend on libraries when they close? Â鶹Éç London’s Stephen Menon went to Broad Green Library in Croydon to find out.
