Why are there no bridges in East London?
Available for over a year
London's newest river crossing, the Silvertown Tunnel, has opened to the public. It's cost £2.2bn and stretches almost a mile under the Thames from Greenwich to Newham next to the Blackwall Tunnel. Silvertown Tunnel is now the fourth road river crossing east of Tower Bridge - but if you look at a map, you'll notice there are far more Thames crossings in the west of the capital. So why is this the case? Â鶹Éç Radio London's Shay Kaur Grewal has been speaking to Jay Foreman, a comedian and youtuber, known for his series Unfinished London. (Image credit: Getty Images)
