When you're feeling poorly, you may dread trying to get a GP appointment. Nicknamed 'the 8am dash', GP reception phone lines across the country clog up as people try to get same-day appointments. As the people who answer the calls, reception staff can take the brunt of the frustration, but what does it feel like for them? Rob Sissons went to Tudor House Medical Centre and spoke to receptionists Jayne Bond and Sandra Brewster.
