The Davies family from Holywell in North Wales consists of dad Tim, mum Gaynor and their two children - Fern, 12, and Toby, 14.

For the Davies family, life revolves around sport, with little time for green reflection. Tim's an ex-world champion power lifter, Gaynor's an ex-runner-up Miss Universe body builder, Fern's dream is to play for the National Netball Team and Toby is currently undergoing trials to be a professional rugby player.

Tim and Gaynor's work lives still revolve around physical fitness. Gaynor is a fitness instructor at a local gym and Tim is a full-time supervisor at the local swimming baths, plus a part-time social worker. They clock up over 550 hours work every month in order to fuel their consumer lifestyle.

The Davies' spend £8,580 per year on energy - no wonder, when there are over 70 electrical appliances in the Davies household and two gas-guzzling cars to run. The close-knit Davies family is united by their complete disregard for all things green.
