Scientists will be hoping to find more rare species - after a group of six fin whales was spotted off the Pembrokeshire coast last year. Members of the public are being asked to of whales, dolphins and porpoises to the , which monitors wildlife in Britain's waters.
Meanwhile three inflatable marine mammals will be the star attractions at a location near Barmouth, in the north of Wales as part of a marine animal rescue training course. The two tonne rubber pilot whale, seal and dolphin will be used in the course run by the group
Wales is enjoying a revival as a brewer of cider as changes to our climate make it easier to grow specialist apple varieties. In Pembrokeshire, the Clarbeston Road Apple Pickers, a community cider making group, has trebled production and plans to sell the brew in the local pub.
