No nativity scene would be complete without one. With it's long ears, hairy body, swishing tail and those beautiful eyes - awwh! Donkeys have been with us for ....Well, "Donkey's years"! Nowadays, we probably don't see that many of them other than the odd one in a field, but historically they've played an important, working role.
