It's - a short season looked forward to, and loved by foodies. But did you know that there is also a wild asparagus - that loves our cliffs? Dr Tim Rich is a Botonist at the takes us looking for rare shoots of the plant living on the cliffs of . Efforts are on to try and from extinction.

But while wild asparagus is struggling to survive the farmed version is a growing business for producers Nick and Pat Bean and it's a busy time for them at , in Pembrokeshire. Of course it would be rude not to try their produce so it's off to meet the experts at restaurant in Nantgaredig for a taste of Welsh asparagus at its best.
