Last updated: 06 December 2009

Country Focus - Sunday 6th December at 07.30am presented by Melanie Doel.

This year Rail Ramblers have been celebrating 20 years of walking by train.
Supported by and , programme, is a series of guided weekly walks from railway stations across the country. It relies on its keen volunteers to keep the programme jam-packed and appealing to a range of walkers who might enjoy not only the train journey but the spectacular views that can be seen whilst on the train and of course whilst walking!

Mel Doel steps on the train at Cardiff and travels up to Cross Keys and joins the Islwyn Ramblers - for a great walk, just a shame about the weather!
