c. Management Board remuneration

The members of the Management Board who served during the year are detailed on the Management Board page. The remuneration report contains more information on the Âé¶¹Éç remuneration policy for the Âé¶¹Éç World Service Management Board. The remuneration of the permanently appointed members of the Management Board is set out below.

There were no termination payments paid to members of the Management Board on leaving Âé¶¹Éç World Service during the year (2005 none).

The highest paid member of the Management Board in the year was Nigel Chapman, Director, Âé¶¹Éç World Service. The aggregate of his emoluments to 31 March 2006 was £217,000 (2005 £228,000). As a member of the Âé¶¹Éç Pension Scheme, Nigel Chapman’s total accrued annual pension at 31 March 2006 was £83,000 (2005 £74,000).

All 17 of the full-time members of the Management Board have retirement benefits accruing under the Âé¶¹Éç Pension Scheme (2005 16 members).
