Beef short ribs recipes
More indulgent than pork ribs, but still relatively inexpensive, beef ribs are also known as short ribs, thin ribs, and Jacob's Ladder, depending on how they are cut. They typically have more meat than pork ribs and can be very tender. Try them grilled, barbecued, roasted or slow-cooked. Individual ribs can be added to stocks and stews.

Beef short ribs are readily available now and a lovely way to slow cook beef. They do take a long time so plan ahead. Mary uses red cabbage in her coleslaw, but feel free to use shredded white cabbage if you prefer.
