Les Augres Manor, Trinity
Open all year round
Here you can come face to face with some of the world's most endangered animals. Jersey Zoo was set up by famous conservationist Gerald Durrell, and the zoo houses the international headquarters of the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust. The Trust works with a number of organisations around the world to preserve and protect endangered animals. The park is set in 31 acres, and has a licensed restaurant and gift shop.

The Living Legend

This attraction recreates Jersey through the ages using award-winning special effects. It explores Jersey from the time the island was formed through to the German occupation. There is also a section on local myths and legends. There are several restaurants and shops, as well as two 18-hole adventure golf courses and a children's playground.Ìý

Samares Manor
La Grande Route de St. Clement, St. Clement
Closed during the winter
This manor has extensive grounds and herb gardens, and has many activities. There are craft demonstrations and wood turning, as well as falconry demonstrations. You can also ride in a Jersey horse-drawn van, or have a guided tour of the manor house.

aMaizin Maze
La Hougue Farm, La Grande Route de St. Pierre, St. Peter
Open July to September
This is the site of a specially designed maze, with hidden corners, obstacles and surprises. There is also a natural playground, and tractor and trailer rides on selected days.

The Butterfly Centre
Haute Tombette, St. Mary
Set in the grounds of a carnation nursery, visitors walk through an enclosed area in which hundreds of rare and exotic butterflies live freely and breed in a re-creation of their natural habitat.
