Revisited: Devizes, Bedhampton and Stoke-on-Trent
Charlie Dimmock revisits gardens whose designs were inspired by Oman, Greece and Japan to see what they look like now.
Charlie Dimmock heads back to Devizes to revisit one of the gardens she created with Chris Hull. John and Vanessa had wanted an Oman-inspired outdoor space perfect for entertaining, and four years on, Charlie is delighted to find a garden bursting with life and vibrant colour, with the firepit and social area still at the heart of it all.
Charlie also reconnects with Lisa in Bedhampton, whose dream of a Greek-style garden inspired by holidays to Kos and the Greek Islands blossomed into something even better.
Finally, Charlie catches up with Luke, who wanted a Japanese garden that would also be a fun, safe space for his young son Jude and discovers how the design has matured into a tranquil, family-friendly haven.
