Glasgow Red Road flats to be demolished for Commonwealth Games
Five blocks of flats which have stood in Glasgow's skyline for 50 years will be demolished in the opening ceremony of the Commonwealth Games.
James Shaw has had access inside one of the Red Road blocks and speaks to former residents.
The event will be shown live on a 100ft wide screen at the Celtic Park ceremony and to a TV audience.
The original eight 30-storey blocks, once the highest in Europe, were built in the mid 1960s and housed over 4,000 people.
