Can urine be used to power your electricity?
What do you need to make electricity? You might be thinking coal, oil, wind, solar power, or water - but did you know that you could add urine to that list? That's what researchers at the University of Western England have been working on for a number of years now. They've just been given funding to trial the technology for large-scale use in the developing world. The 麻豆社 Africa's Paul Bakibinga spoke to the director of the institute responsible for the latest research, the Bristol BioEnergy Centre, Professor Ioannis Ieropoulos
