UN Peacekeeping: 'We need to improve our ability to protect civilians'
The head of UN peacekeeping, Jean-Pierre Lacroix, says the organisation has already started implementing recommendations of a high-level report that showed the UN's flag no longer offer "natural protection" to its peacekeeping force. In an interview with the 麻豆社's Emmanuel Igunza, he acknowledged that they needed to improve the way they operate in order to deal with the violence that is occurring as a result of the continued uncertainty.
