Remembering Gambia's biggest sea tragedy
The death of more than 60 Gambians, including 11 women off the coast of Mauritania as they tried to make their way into Europe at the beginning of this month shocked many. Most are said to have come from the town of Barra north of the country. The boat wreck is the biggest sea tragedy in the country鈥檚 history in recent years. Our Reporter in The Gambia, Omar Wally, travelled to Barra town 聽and tells us more in this report.
