South Africa: Children's radio station wins global award for Covid-19 coverage
RX Radio, an innovative station in Cape Town鈥檚 Red Cross Children鈥檚 Hospital beat 138 other entries from around the world to jointly win a global award for its Covid-19 programming.
RX Radio鈥檚 entry entitled, Children鈥檚 Voices on Covid-19, was one of two winners of the international Reboot Health and Wellness Innovation Challenge organised by the World Health Organisation, UNICEF, the World Food Programme and UNAIDS.聽
The initiative was launched in March to inspire young people from around the world to develop solutions to one of the most urgent health challenges, that of keeping young people safe.聽
