Abiola Onabule, Designer-in-Residence at London's Design Museum
The fashion world has been turned upside down by Covid-19, with significant fashion houses going bankrupt. But a Nigerian woman who is currently Designer-in-Residence at the Design Museum in London is bringing a new focus to African dyeing and weaving techniques. The project runs for a year and will see African womenswear designs on display for the first time at this iconic London showroom.
