Zambian banking executive, Mizinga Melu shares the story of how she rose to become a top executive in the banking industry. She has just written a book, Braving the Odds: A Memoir on Perseverance, Finance and Faith, in which she details her rise to the top of the corporate ladder - including her victories and setbacks. She's been sharing her journey with Focus on Africa's Audrey Brown and started by reading an extract from her book highlighting an occasion where she was overlooked for a job.
