Sudan: Civilian and military supporters hold rival protests
Supporters of the civilian and military factions of Sudan鈥檚 transitional government have been holding rival protests in the capital Khartoum on Thursday. Tensions between the two groups, who have shared power since Omar al-Bashir was deposed in 2019, have grown in recent weeks. The journalist Mohamed Alamin has been at a pro-civilian rule protest, and told Focus on Africa鈥檚 Audrey Brown what鈥檚 been happening.
