Meet Rich Purvis, from Severn Stoke, who shares his secrets on helping us snap happier (and better!) if you're making any new year's resolutions.

He tells Phillip Stoneman about having the subject of your photograph in the image, the rule of thirds and having the feeling of atmosphere - when it comes to events, landscapes, food and people papping.

He follows UB40 all over the world, in addition to regularly capturing live performances from artists including Tiffany, Billy Ocean, Carol Decker, Whigfield, Heather Small, Tears For Fears, Peter Andre and many more.
