Worcester veteran worries over LGBT compensation
In July last year, Rishi Sunak formally apologised to LGBT veterans for their treatment.
But despite promises that those affected would get some kind of recompense, nothing has happened.
Today, former veterans who were thrown out of the military for being gay or bisexual have told the 麻豆社 they fear they won't live to see the compensation the government has promised.
An independent review published last year suggested 49 ways the government could make reparations, but campaigners say those affected have not yet received any money.
Someone who understands their story very well is Kevin Bazeley from Worcester, who was forced to leave the RAF because he was gay.
