Midlands’ first-ever Green MP takes Tory safe seat
Ellie Chowns overturned a Conservative of nearly 25,000 votes to win the seat of North Herefordshire.
During her election speech at Hereford Leisure Centre, she thanks the other candidates for their efforts to democracy, and says how she promises to 'work her socks off' and is ready to 'roll her sleeves up and get stuck in'.
