Discover life as a Birmingham Royal Ballet professional, courtesy of Amelia Thompson, who has danced to the iconic heavy metal band and performed on stage at Glastonbury Festival.

Amelia and fellow dancer Ariana Allen tell Kalpana Boodhoo about the art of performing, and shine a light on the intricate demands on their bodies.

Typical days include classes at 10am, with warm-ups lasting until midday, giving way to rehearsals through the afternoon. On performance days, it won't be home time until after 10pm!

Amelia's journey began at Star Stage School and then Academy Theatre Arts in Worcester, before graduating to prestigious schools in Birmingham.
