Worcester athlete picked for Invictus Games 2025
Army veteran Mark Abel says he can't wait to do his country proud, in Vancouver, competing for Team UK in the event set up by Prince Harry in 2014.
The 57-year-old competed in his first games in 2016, but fell out of love with sport amid personal tragedy. His 14-year-old son took his own life in 2017 and his wife was diagnosed with cancer.
But now the athlete is making a comeback, and tells our reporter Tom Edwards how his family are firmly in his thoughts, through the four events he'll compete in.
