Pontins owner charged after Hereford woman died
Britannia Jinky Jersey, Pontins' parent company, will appear in court next month. It has been charged with corporate manslaughter after a Hereford pensioner died, six months after fracturing her hip and shoulder when part of a ceiling collapsed inside a bingo venue.
18 people were injured at Pontins Brean Sands, in Somerset, in February 2019.
67-year-old Wendy Jones, who was from Hereford, she spent the final 6 months of her life in hospital before she died.
